This Privacy Policy explains what information The Considered Buyer (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit theconsideredbuyer.com, and how it is used.
Information we collect
- Server logs. Like all websites, our server automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. Logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are deleted regularly.
- Click statistics. When you click a link to Amazon, we count the click together with the product and page it came from. This count contains no personal information and no cookies are set for it.
- Messages you send us. If you use our contact form, we store your name, email address and message in our website database so we can reply to you. We delete messages once they are no longer needed.
We do not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties for their marketing.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies of its own. If you log in to the site or leave a comment, WordPress may set functional cookies needed for that feature.
Third-party websites
Our articles link to Amazon and other websites. When you click those links, the destination site may collect information and set cookies according to its own privacy policy, for example Amazon’s Privacy Notice. As an Amazon Associate, we receive reports of qualifying purchases from Amazon, which do not identify you personally.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
